ZOTAC didn’t just show up at Computex 2025, they came ready to flex. Whether you're a handheld enthusiast, an SFF rig builder, or a cooling purist, there was something worth talking about. This year, the company focused on a strong trio: the ZOTAC Zone 2 prototype, a Low-Profile triple-fan GPU, and a bold return of the ArcticStorm series with a fully AIO-cooled RTX 5090.

Let’s break it down.

ZOTAC Zone 2 Prototype

We got to see the ZOTAC Zone 2 in person, and let’s just say, it’s come a long way since the 2024 reveal.

Now powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, this handheld is a performance-first machine wrapped in a clean white chassis. Paired with Radeon 890M graphics, it’s capable of smooth 1080p gaming, and that’s on a 7-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Not bad at all for a device that fits in your bag.

ZOTAC clearly took feedback from last year and doubled down. The memory config goes up to 32GB LPDDR5X, and it comes with 1TB PCIe Gen 4 storage out of the box. Add Wi-Fi 6E, dual USB4 ports, Bluetooth 5.2, trackpads, Hall-effect joysticks, and even a kickstand, you’re looking at a genuinely complete handheld package.

But here’s the twist: this prototype runs Manjaro Linux with a ZOTAC-custom UI. It’s not Windows. That could be a bold move or a niche play depending on how good the compatibility layer (Wine) is in the long run. Still, it shows ZOTAC is not afraid to experiment, and that’s exciting to see in a space dominated by familiar faces.

Tiny But Mighty, Zotac's Triple-Fan Low-Profile GPU

Now this one turned heads, not just for what it is, but how small it is.

ZOTAC debuted what’s arguably one of the smallest triple-fan GPUs ever made. Designed for SFF builds, this Low Profile RTX 50-series card packs surprising thermal hardware in a form factor barely larger than your hand.

The RTX 5060 Low Profile GPU, a 2-slot, compact powerhouse that runs off a single 8-pin PCIe connector. It’s tailor-made for SFF and ITX builds, offering just the right balance of size, cooling, and performance. Whether you're building a stealthy home theater PC or a minimalist LAN rig, this GPU brings full RTX 50-series capabilities to even the smallest setups.

ArcticStorm RTX 5090 The Cool Return

ZOTAC also brought back its legendary ArcticStorm lineup, and this time, it's riding in on the beast that is the RTX 5090. Fully AIO-cooled and visually wild, the ArcticStorm RTX 5090 is unapologetically over-the-top, and that’s the whole point.

Think of it as ZOTAC’s answer to ASUS’ Astral Edition, complete with a custom waterblock, RGB, and likely a price tag that’ll make your wallet sweat before your GPU ever does.

Whether or not it sees a Malaysian release is still unclear, but for enthusiasts and collectors, this is one of those cards that stands out just by existing.

Final Thoughts

ZOTAC came to Computex 2025 with hardware that blends practicality with innovation. The Zone 2 shows they’re serious about handhelds beyond just being part of the trend. The Low-Profile GPU proves they still know how to nail thermal design for compact rigs. And the ArcticStorm? That’s ZOTAC letting loose and having fun, and we’re here for it.

No release dates yet, but we’re definitely keeping a close eye on all three.
