Seasonic and Noctua Unveil Ultra-Quiet 1600W Power Supply: The Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition

Taipei/Vienna, November 25th, 2024 – In a landmark collaboration, Seasonic and Noctua have introduced the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition, a premium 1600W ATX 3.1 power supply designed for ultra-quiet workstations and gaming PCs that demand exceptional power delivery. By combining Seasonic’s renowned flagship power supply with Noctua’s legendary NF-A12x25 fan and custom-engineered fan grill, this special edition delivers a level of silence and performance that is truly next-level.
The Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition harnesses the power of Seasonic’s advanced, 80 PLUS® Titanium certified PRIME TX series, known for its top-tier performance, efficiency, and high-quality components. Now, with the Noctua touch, the power supply is quieter than ever before. The unique combination of Noctua’s fan and fan grill results in a reduction of noise levels by up to 10dB(A) compared to the already quiet standard model.

The advanced fan technology also features a semi-passive fan control system, allowing the PSU to run entirely passively up to around 50% load. For quieter, less power-hungry systems, the fan operates at near-inaudible speeds, even under full load, where it remains whisper-quiet at ~24dB(A) at ambient temperatures of up to 25°C. In comparison, the regular model operates at ~34dB(A).
