Live from Taipei, Taiwan – Computex 2025

We're here in Taipei for Computex 2025, and AMD just dropped the curtain on its latest GPU, the Radeon RX 9060 XT. Built on their new RDNA 4 architecture, this card is aimed squarely at next-gen gaming, heavy content creation workloads, and now, AI-powered tools as well.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT comes with 32 compute units, support for 32 hardware ray accelerators, and delivers double the ray tracing performance compared to last gen. You’ll get it in 8GB and 16GB GDDR6 variants, depending on your needs. AMD is also bringing forward new AI-focused features, like FP8 support and structured sparsity, designed for the growing number of games and apps integrating AI in real-time.
The boost clock goes up to 3.13GHz, and it pulls between 150W–182W, making it pretty efficient considering the power it delivers. Display output is handled via DisplayPort 2.1a, and it connects over PCIe 5.0 x16.

Key Specs – Radeon RX 9060 XT:
32 RDNA 4 Compute Units
32 Ray Accelerators
64 AI Accelerators
Up to 3.13GHz Boost Clock
8GB or 16GB GDDR6 Memory
821 TOPS AI (INT4 Sparse)
PCIe 5.0 x16
DisplayPort 2.1a
150W – 182W TBP
AMD is positioning this card as a sweet spot for gamers who want long-term value and AI-readiness. With all the ongoing shifts in game engines, upscaling tech, and generative content tools, it’s clear AMD is planning well beyond just frame rates.

We’ll be testing this card once samples are available, so stay tuned for our full review soon. For now, this launch looks solid, especially for those planning to upgrade heading into the next wave of AAA titles and AI-assisted workflows.
